Tournesol is an innovative ‘All-in-one’ concept, providing leisure, relaxation and well-being to all.
Services and activities relating to leisure, well-being and sport –usually separate – are all found in one place here: swimming pools, spaces dedicated to fitness and relaxation, quality catering, beautiful, large outdoor green spaces with high-quality landscaping, including sports fields and much more.
TOURNESOL’s ‘All-in-one’ concept is innovative, as is its eco-friendly and modular technology. This technology particularly concerns energy, water and its unique construction system: a 13-metre-high dome, which can be opened in just a few minutes when the weather is good. The activities and services are therefore available all year round, in all weather conditions.
TOURNESOL is open to everyone enjoying various activities under the banner of leisure, health and well-being. With a regional and local vocation, it is aimed at a local demographic, located less than 30 minutes away, who can get to the premises by public transport or bicycle.
A German and Austrian design, the first TOURNESOL opened its doors in 2010 in Germany. Already more than ten years of continuous experience and innovation.
TOURNESOL is eco-friendly, C02 neutral and powered by renewable energies (solar panels, geothermal energy, heat pumps, etc.). TOURNESOL centres are self-sufficient in energy.
Any surface that can be used to generate energy is used (roofs, etc.) and optimised. For example, shaded structures are installed on the car park, both to provide shade and to accommodate solar panels, providing energy.
In addition to energy-related systems, water-saving management is an area of expertise for the TOURNESOL teams.
Water, its management, treatment and its quality and effects on the environment play an essential role in the operation of a swimming pool. TOURNESOL reduces costs and total water consumption. These performances are achieved through the integrated use of water, without impact on the environment and through a sustainable recycling and filtration system.
For new construction or renovation/adaptation of existing water or sports equipment, TOURNESOL meets the needs present in many cities and towns. It responds to new trends in leisure, health, well-being and sport.
Its modular construction concept makes it possible to create a solution specific to each area, in terms of size, services and spaces offered. In addition to the basic model, you can add additional modules, such as shops and accommodation, sports fields and much more. Each TOURNESOL offers its own range of leisure and personalised services.

Top-of-the-range and regionally oriented, TOURNESOL is mainly aimed at a local demographic. With 300,000 to 500,000 visitors per year, TOURNESOL is a major draw and adds value to an area.
Each TOURNESOL is a strong job creator. Each has between 120 and 140 employees, of all types of qualifications and professions. Many jobs can be filled by low-skilled workers or young people in education. Partnerships with communities or public bodies can be established to ensure the recruitment and monitoring of these staff members.
No tasks are outsourced, all business areas are integrated, from the lifeguard to the manager, through to maintenance, kitchen or administrative staff.
